I generally translate into my native language English. My translating work is ongoing, over ten years I have translated more than 700 medical articles and over fifty general and commercial texts and subtitles for individuals and many and various companies.

A particular area of interest of mine is sport, particularly football; as a very keen fan of Bundesliga and football development and training I am always keen to undertake jobs in this area of writing and work.

Rates depend on the difficulty, volume and deadline of the project. In supporting all freelance translators and writers, my focus is "a fair day's work for a fair day's pay" in opposition to "Lohndumping" practices, while at the same time seeking to support students, low-income individuals and not-for-profit organisations, whom I encourage to approach me for my services.

To maintain my language skills I access a broad range of media from various countries to follow what is happening in the world, including German newspapers "Sueddeutsche Zeitung", "TAZ", "DIE ZEIT" and the German edition of "LeMonde Diplomatique", Slovenian newspaper "Delo" and the magazine "Mladina", Italian newspapers "Il Fatto Quotidiano" and "Corriere Della Sera". In Addition I listen daily to podcasts from RAI, RTV Slovenia, WDR, Deutsche Welle and Radio Echo Moskva.
